I just remembered that Paty and I had a moment during True Love last December.
Good times.
I’m honestly terrified of the day Madina Lake finally decide it’s enough.
Not because it means the end of something I love, but because of the civil war that will happen amongst the rivers. We’re suppose to be a family, supporting, and caring for one another - yet I see every one each other. How the fuck are we suppose to function like that?! How is that suppose to make Nathan, Matthew, Dan, and Mateo (because he still counts) proud of us? We’re arguing and insulting one another, why?
They say they want a break and all hell breaks lose! No. What are you guys doing?
Instead of fighting we should be telling each other it’s okay!
Maybe some of us get more time with the boys, okay sure, accept it! Don’t make the other person feel bad for it!
I understand as a family we’re suppose to be different and not get along all the damn time, but don’t ruin it for the rest of us!

Honestly, I feel that at this moment being sad for Mateo’s departure is kind of selfish of me.
He left probably because it was what he wanted, he’s going to start a new chapter in his life. He’s going to do that things that make him happy. And he has my full support on anything he does.
In my mind, before today, I believed that as a family we were all going to grow old together - the band and us, but that’s obviously not happening. Everyone has their own life to lead and Mateo is just the first of us to move on.
